We recently had the pleasure of carrying out an ex We recently had the pleasure of carrying out an extensive deep clean this week at the renowned Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa in Keswick, working throughout a number of the spa’s specialist thermal and relaxation areas. Our team worked carefully and methodically using specialist products across the: 🧖 Laconium 🧂 Salt Steam Room 🌿 Aroma Steam Room 🌱 Herbal Sauna 🔥 Finnish Sauna ✨ Heated Loungers 🚿 Male & Female Changing Rooms Spa and wellness environments require an exceptionally high standard of cleaning due to the combination of heat, humidity, constant footfall and the build-up that naturally develops across surfaces over time. Our approach on Wednesday evening was focused on detailed, intensive cleaning throughout each area, paying close attention to surfaces, seating, walls, floors, edges, corners and high-contact areas to help restore presentation standards and support a clean, hygienic environment for guests. We are incredibly proud of the effort our team put into this project. Every member of the team worked hard to ensure each area received the time and attention it required, and it was a privilege to provide our services within such a well-known Lake District venue. We can also only get in after the spa has closed to the public so this was a fantastic team effort. Keepers Cottage had its changeover clean today. A Keepers Cottage had its changeover clean today. A lovely little cottage tucked just over Grisedale Bridge in Glenridding, now fully refreshed, reset and ready to welcome its next guests.
24 showers, 6 urinals, 12 toilet cubicles, 12 sink 24 showers, 6 urinals, 12 toilet cubicles, 12 sinks, 12 mirrors, 2 bins, the outdoor washing-up area and a handful of family showers later… plus a serious amount of scrubbing 🫧 Park Foot’s newest communal block received the full late-night treatment from our team, thoroughly cleaned, sanitised and refreshed ready for guests the following morning.

If a house is going to be sitting empty for a week or so before the next guests arrive, we’ll always make the effort to return closer to check-in to give it another freshen-up — re-dusting surfaces, refreshing the floors and making sure everything still feels as clean and welcoming as it did on the day of the original changeover. It’s those final touches that make the difference.
